Attendance

1. Academic Staff and Heads expect full and punctual attendance from all pupils. Children should attend school on a daily basis from Monday to Friday.

2. If a pupil is unfit for school, parents/guardians are asked to contact the school on the first day of absence by 10:00 am. When the pupil returns, he or she must bring a written note, signed by the parent/guardian.

3. All holiday leave during term time is at the discretion of the Headmaster. Provided the request is made in advance in writing, leave for up to ten days per school year may be granted, provided that the pupil’s attendance record is otherwise satisfactory. However, absence from school for vacation purposes is discouraged. Students who are away for this reason are expected to make up for the work missed.

4. Leaving the campus during school hours is not allowed, unless with prior written permission from authorized personnel.
