It has been the strategy of IBA to employ local teachers where possible. Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) is required from all applicants. A strict selection criteria, focused on academic qualifications, subject area expertise and experience, is used to ensure hiring of highly qualified and well experienced teaching staff.

Primary and Secondary Deputy Heads and subject coordinators are responsible for the effective delivery of the curriculum and high learning experience of the students.

To ensure the high quality implementation of the British education system, a Headmaster with extensive experience in British schools abroad is in charge of the academic affairs of IBA.
