“When I first arrived at IBA, I did not know what to expect. I was nervous- it was a new place with new faces. I thought I would be spending the year alone. But I was wrong. I soon made friends that made it more comfortable for me to stay. I found a new home. The school changed me to be a more assertive person, which I did not expect. I came in as a very shy boy but now I have the confidence to express myself in different ways. I also have met so many interesting people with interesting values and perspective.”
